UN Climate Finance and Sustainable Investing Conference 2019

How do investors view the problem of climate change? Can finance play a key role in overcoming it and facilitate the transition to a low-carbon economy? How can investments be geared towards more long-term sustainable value creation?

These were some of the questions addressed at UN Climate Finance & Sustainable Investing Conference held in October, 2019 in Hong Kong, of which AllianzGI took part as one of the sponsoring partners.

The Conference, Asia’s first major ESG event co-organised by United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and World Green Organisations, brought together policymakers, private business and international organisations, among other stakeholders, to discuss the pressing issues in promoting climate-resilient investment to support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as to encourage the development of green finance in the region.

The Conference saw AllianzGI’s subject matter experts take to the stage. Listen to what they have to say about sustainable investing.
