In Asia Asset Management’s C-Suite interview, Desmond Ng, Head of Asia Pacific at AllianzGI discussed where he sees opportunities for institutional investors in the region and AllianzGI’s strategic priorities to grow in Asia.

It quoted Desmond Ng saying that after a turbulent year and a huge outflow of foreign capital from Asia, there may be a silver lining now that key markets like China are showing signs of recovery.

He also highlighted AllianzGI’s several key pillars to grow the business in Asia, including China, Southeast Asia, investment advisory and solutions, digital asset management and private markets.

“The company has a dedicated team called risklab to help institutional clients in the region develop tailored dynamic asset allocation strategies through quantitative research and modelling”, he adds.
